this doesn't happen in las vegas

Massive snow-drifting in the Manchester has caused problems from my colleague, Mark. As you can see, the conditions are, well, incredible.



Here's the view from Mark's house. As you can see, the road is simply impassible. No wonder Mark and the family are cut off from civilisation.



Believe me, this is Mark's car. I know you probably can't tell. I think he scraped the snow off the numberplate to give it some semblance of believability.



This is my mum's new cat, seemingly unaffected by the snow. Stoke is much further south than Manchester, which probably explains the distinct lack of carnage in this photo.
