More snow carnage

This is what I woke up to this morning. I'd heard on the radio that it was bad, but I wasn't ready for this. As you can see, the whole area is totally impassible.

Here's the scene at Ganesh's house. Look at it, cars have clearly lost all control entering the cul-de-sac and have been abandoned where they stopped. How fortunate it is that Ganesh comes to work on the train.

Without doubt though, it's Linda who had the worst conditions to face this morning. How fortunate it is that she doesn't work Wednesdays (although sometimes she does, confusingly). Not this week though - stay indoors, Linda, save yourself!

Things still look a bit rough at Mark's house, however. Don't fancy Trudi's chances of getting to work tomorrow.

this doesn't happen in las vegas

Massive snow-drifting in the Manchester has caused problems from my colleague, Mark. As you can see, the conditions are, well, incredible.

Here's the view from Mark's house. As you can see, the road is simply impassible. No wonder Mark and the family are cut off from civilisation.

Believe me, this is Mark's car. I know you probably can't tell. I think he scraped the snow off the numberplate to give it some semblance of believability.

This is my mum's new cat, seemingly unaffected by the snow. Stoke is much further south than Manchester, which probably explains the distinct lack of carnage in this photo.
